– Stanton’s softball team took an early lead against Alpine on Friday, but the Lady Bucks managed to battle back and score three late runs to beat Stanton.
The Lady Buffs scored two runs in the bottom of the fourth inning for the first runs of the game.
Alpine finally got on the board in the top of the sixth and tied the game at 2-2 following a Lady Buffs error.
