Gordon Eiland, a 1975 graduate of Stanton High School, was recently inducted into the Austin College Athletic Hall of Honor. He played football for four years and competed in track one year. He set the Austin College record for longest field goal in 1976 oat 50 yards, then beat his own record in 1977 with a 54-yarder.
