STANTON - The Permian Basin Underground Water Conservation District is honored to announce to the surrounding communities their 2024 Scholarship Recipients.The topic for this year was, “Water has been a very valuable element in our everyday lives for over thousands of years.
Stanton High School Band members had a great time at the State Solo and Ensemble Contest in Austin last week. The Brass Ensemble received a First Division rating and trumpet soloist Thayne Gernentz received a Second Division rating. Also competing in Austin was a Clarinet Quartet.
