- A former Martin County Sheriff’s Office employee has filed a federal lawsuit claiming she was fired in retaliation for political association and for reporting sexual harassment. The suit describes the case as one about the abuse of personal and political power by those in authority.

Danny Ireton Memorial golf tournament raises over $50,000

- The Danny Ireton Memorial presented by Cox Cattle Company raised over $50,000 over the weekend at Ratliff Ranch Golf Links for the First Responder Families of West Texas.The tournament had 32 teams and 128 player vying for tournament championship.
