The St. Joseph Catholic Church Youth Group went to Santa Fe, NM on July 23rd. This stop in Santa Fe was included in this year's youth rally in Denver, Colorado. While in Santa Fe they were able to go and see this amazing staircase, called Miraculous due to its two complete spirals without center or side supports (defying engineering logic). This staircase is located in the Loretto Chapel. It's believed to have been built by St. Joseph.

Early morning wreck claims one life

- At about 4:20 am Saturday morning, Martin County first responders were dispatched to a wreck on State Highway 349 close to County Road D 2051 or Mile Marker 300.Upon arrival, responders discovered a violent collison had occured between a small car and a semi-truck.
