Flag retirement ceremony slated for June 14

A flag retirement ceremony will be held at 1884 Plaza (Convent) 301 E. Carpenter; Stanton on Saturday, June 14 at 7 pm.This ceremony is a fitting tribute and expression of patriotism, enhancing the public’s understanding of the honor and respect due the US flag.

One dead, two injured in rollover crash on I-20 in Martin County

MARTIN COUNTY - A woman from Big Spring was killed and two others were injured following a single-vehicle rollover crash Sunday on I-20.The crash occurred around 5:00 p.m. on June 1 near mile marker 162, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
