Grady junior varsity loses two this week

GRADY – It was a rough week for Grady’s junior varsity boys as they lost two games to Hermleigh and Westbrook.

The first game back from Christmas break was a 57-24 loss to Hermleigh.

Austin Aaron scored a team high 13 points while Austin Snider had five, Cobe Cortez three and Colt Carson three.

Grady performed better in the next game against Westbrook, but still lost 47-30.

Franki Jimenez finished with a team high 15 points while Cortez contributed nine and Quint Harrell added six.

Grady falls to 0-5 on the season.

Upcoming games for Grady will be a contest at Borden County on Friday at 5 p.m. Then on Jan. 21, Grady will host Garden City at 5 p.m. The junior varsity girls will host Stanton’s freshman team at 4 p.m.
