Grady beats Klondike 32-21

GRADY – The Grady junior high boys’ basketball team beat Klondike 32-21 Monday night in Grady. The Wildcats opened with the game with their best quarter of 10 points to take a six-point lead. Grady would out score Klondike in each of the next three quarters by at least on field goal for the lop sided win. Hagen O’Donnell led Grady with a season high nine points. Kody Cates finished the game with eight points while Chapman Sims chipped in five and Hunter McAnally tossed in four. Cyle Taylor, Kellen Young and Gunner Cherry had two points each. “This was our first game coming off the Christmas break. I was very proud of all the kids. All 15 players got to play and contributed in the win,” said Grady coach Chris Short. Grady’s record now stands at 4-2. Next game Jan. 20 at Sands.
