Taking good care of animals

It goes with the territory for anyone who has livestock or animals. It is called Animal Husbandry and in a way you become a husband to them because you are constantly providing for and looking out for their wellbeing. This can include a wide range of things like seeing that they have plenty of good quality food. Protecting them from the elements and predators. Properly treating any disease they may have. You are constantly on the lookout for any problem that might arise. If some become weak you need to feed them extra. If it becomes severe you take them to a special place where they can get the special care they need much like a hospital. This reminds me of something about God. He is concerned about everyone but He is especially concerned for those who are weak and hurting. I do not just mean physically but spiritually. We may be well off financially and physically but weak or dead spiritually. If someone is doing well spiritually God does not have to pay as much attention to them. Anyone who has never asked God to forgive them of their sins and called on Jesus Christ to be their personal Lord and Savior is dead spiritually, (Romans 3:23&6:23). There is a danger for Christians that we can become negligent or weak spiritually. God wants other Christians to help them, (Psalm 82:3&4, Acts 20:35, I Thessalonians 5:14). See you in Church next Sunday. Brother J
