KLONDIKE – A dismal second quarter hampered Grady’s chance of a road victory over Klondike on Monday.
The Wildcats had a decent first quarter taking a 7-4 lead but Klondike stepped on the gas in the second quarter to surge ahead at halftime 17-7.
The second half was an equally matched back and forth battle allowing Klondike to hold on for a 37-30 win.
Gunner Cherry finished with a team high nine points and Patrick Weitzel added seven.
Callaway McMorries, Aaron Cates, and Dalton Saunders tossed in four points each and Charles Deathergae rounded out the books with two points.
Grady’s season record sits a 4-2.
