STANTON - With basketball over, the coming weeks will get busy at Stanton ISD as the spring sports kick off.
Baseball has had a couple scrimmages but no games yet. All the diamond teams will be in tournament action this weekend.
Junior High track and High School will compete in the first meet of the season on Tuesday and Thursday respectively next week in Coahoma.
Golf goes to its first meet next week.
In Powerlifting, Marisela Lozano has qualified for the regional meet in Kermit on Mar. 6.
The boys compete in a dual meet this weekend with regional qualifiers announced next week.
