SHAMROCK - The Stanton Lady Buffaloes powerlifting team traveled to Shamrock last weekend to compete in the Regional Powerlifting Meet.
Competitor try to lift as much weight possible in three disciplines, bench, squat, and deadlift. They get three lifts in each discipline.
In the 105 lb class, Paisley Carby compiled a three lift total of 485 to finish 11th.
Brittyn Carson and Addi Silva competed in the 114 lb class. Carson finished 5th with her total of 615 while Silva came in 9th totaling 530.
Emerie Barnes totaled 610 to place 10th in the 148 lb class and Madison Mabry put together a massive 670 which was good enough for 5th in the 198 lb class.
The day was finished up with the 259 lb class where Charlotte Witte placed 4th with her total of 575.
