SUNDOWN - Tyler Waggoner and the Stanton Powerlifting team traveled to Sundown last weekend to compete in the Region 1 Div. III meet.
Waggoner had an exceptional day and finished second in his weight class earning a trip to state.
He competed in the 165 weight class and lifted a total of 1245 lbs to earn the silver medal.
His squat was 475, bench was 275, and deadlift was 495.
