Grady’s varsity boys have been unstoppable lately posting wins by double figures and limbing to the top of the district standings. A win Friday over Sands puts the Wildcats in the driver’s seat for the district crown.
STANTON – Stanton’s junior high girls took on Odessa Compass last week and split with the Lady Cougars.
The seventh grade struggled in the first and third quarter with no points giving Odessa a 32-15 victory.
Jaycee Perez led Stanton in points with six followed by Ava Villa with five, Trisity Carson three, and Mya Simpson one.
The Stanton eighth grade was way more than Odessa bargained for.
