Jake Benedict and the Stanton Buffaloes beat Ballinger last Friday in their final non-district game. The Buffs open district at home against Grape Creek on Oct. 18.
MIDLAND – The Garden City Bearkats suffered another loss after playing the hot Midland Trinity Chargers last week in Midland.
The Chargers took control of the game early with three first half touchdowns and four straight scores for a 30-0 lead.
Garden City finally got on the board midway through the third quarte with a Presley Jost 7-yr touchdown pass to Levi Easterling.
