Grady, Garden City cross country teams are heading to State
The 2024 Garden City Cross Country State Qualifiers.
The Stanton High School band received a Division I rating at the UIL Region 6 Marching Contest at Ratliff Stadium in Odessa on Oct. 19. The Buffaloes qualified for Area and will march at Lowrey Field at Plains Capital Park in Lubbock on Oct. 26.
- The Grady Lady Wildcats and Garden City Lady Bearkats punched their tickets to the State Cross Country Meet by finishing as top three teams in their respective regions.
Grady finished 2nd at the Class A Region 1 meet held at Mae Simmons Park. It is the second year in a row for the Lady Cats to advance to the state meet. Grady finished 4th last year.
