Brik Fryar lines up a 3-pointer and gives Garden City the lead during Tuesday’s Bi-District game against Paint Rock.
– The Garden City Bearkats started their road to state with a Class A Bi-District victory over Paint Rock on Tuesday at the Junnell Center at Angelo State University.
Paint Rock won the toss and struck first with a pair of short jumpers. Garden City got on the board with a pair of free throws by Texas Brinkley followed by a steal and fast break 3-pointer by Brik Fryar for a Bearkat 5-4 lead.
