Stanton 12U team (back row) placed 2nd place and the 10U team (front row) earned 3rd place in the District tournament last week in Andrews. Both teams are headed to Levelland this week to compete for seeding in the State Tournament later this month.
- The Stanton Buffaloes 12U All-Star team finished second in the District round of the Cal Ripken Little League playoffs.
Stanton would play Lamesa in the district opener. Weston Whitecotton hit two home runs and drove in three to lead the Buffaloes to a 11-1 victory. Also getting hits were Casen Hutto, Kase Cook, Ryker Dolan, and Jacob Hernandez.
