JAYTON - The Garden City Bearkats shook off a slow start and stormed back in the second half to secure a season-opening win over the Bryson Cowboys on Aug. 30 at the Jayton Gridiron Classic.
Despite trailing at halftime, the Bearkats regrouped and responded with a strong second-half performance to start their 2025 campaign with a hardfought 32-24 victory.
