EL PASO - Harrell Lee Holder, 89, died in El Paso, on Sept, 16, 2021. He was born on his grandfather’s farm near Scranton on Feb. 4, 1932. He was a lifelong Baptist. Mr. Holder was a dedicated educator. He was a mathematics teacher, coach, principal and superintendent.

HOBBS, NM - Phil Macey Hinson, 67, died Sept. 20, 2021. He was born on Mar. 6, 1954, to Herschel and Mildred Hinson in Hobbs, NM. They resided in Lovington, NM where at the age of 13, he asked Jesus into his heart in a little Nazarene church.

STANTON - Joe Bryand was born on July 29, 1957, in Big Spring, to Pablo and Silveria Bryand. He was known by everyone as "The Concrete Guy". He taught his children and nephews almost everything there is to know about concrete.

ACKERLY - Hope Perry Sanderson was born to Heaven on Aug. 31, 2021 to parents David and Alice Sanderson of Ackerly. She weighed 9 oz, was 10 inches long, and was 24 weeks gestation. She was a delight to her family every moment of her life.
