Griffin wins gold at 1A state tennis meet

SAN ANTONIO – Grady tennis stars Samantha Griffin and Chapman Sims were back at the Class 1A State Tennis Tournament last week at Blossom Tennis Center in San Antonio.Griffin started her state run with a first-round match against Addison Weeks of Dodd City. Griffin cruised past Weeks 6-1, 6-4.
The Garden City number sense team defended its state title with another gold medal performance at the 2024 UIL Academic State Meet last week in Austin.
