PBAF opens scholarship applications for 2024-25

– Permian Basin Area Foundation is pleased to announce the opening of the 2024-2025 scholarship cycle. Students and counselors may view eligibility and selection criteria for scholarships on the PBAF website, www.pbaf.org. The application opened January 1 and the deadline is March 31.

Two bodies discovered four days apart

It was a crazy week for local law enforcement as multiple calls for service resulted in the discoveries of dead bodies. On Dec. 26, 2023, at 6:30 a.m., Officers of the Stanton Police Department were dispatched to the 3300 block of IH-20 in reference to an unattended death.

Buffaloes look like two different teams from quarter to quarter

STANTON – Stanton’s varsity boys have had some ups and downs this season and many times in the same game. Last week Stanton took on Forsan but it wasn’t the best night for Stanton offensively. The red and white Buffaloes did not hit double digits in any quarter while Forsan put up 14 in the third.
