BIG SPRING - Abel Garcia Rios, 67 of Big Spring, died May 12, 2024 at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene. Visitation will at Myers & Smith Funeral Home, Big Spring, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., May 16. The funeral service will be May 17 at 10 a.m. at Myers & Smith Chapel followed by interment at Trinity Memorial Park.

LUBBOCK - Esther B. DeLeon, 92 of Lubbock, died Apr. 28, 2024. She was born August 27, 1931, to the late Manuel Bustamante and Pauline Mireles Bustamante in Alpine. Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband Noe DeLeon; daughters Belinda Kay Rodriguez and husband Monico, Velma Minjarez and husband Frank, Felicia Herald and husband Mike, and Rosa Salazar; sons Simon P Sanchez and wife Carol, Rudy Bustamante and wife Nancy; sisters Lala Muniz and Ramona Fiero; fourteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.

STANTON - Isidra Reyna, 89 of Stanton, died Apr. 30, 2024. She was bom Apr. 21, 1935 in La Campana, Durango, Mexico to the late Nicolas Jaime and Victoriana Lara. Left to cherish her memories are her daughters Cecila Lara, Zoila Salgado, Rosa Maria Camacho, Delia Zamudio, and Maria Lopez; sons Gonzalo F. Reyna, Nicolas 'Nick' Reyna, Salvador Reyna, and Jorge Reyna; sisters Maria Ibarra and Aurelia Lopez; 41 grandchildren, 80 great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren as well as many extended family and friends.

SEMINOLE - Franklin D Shaw, 87 of Seminole, died Apr. 4, 2024. Services will be at Nalley-Pickle Funeral Home in Big Spring, on Apr. 15. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. with the service following at 11 a.m.

STANTON - Catelyn Brooke Jordan, 31 of Stanton, died on April 3, 2024. A private service for the family will be under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch.

STANTON - Kristen Alisha Graves, born on Jan. 17, 1992, died Apr. 8, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She was more than a daughter and sister; she was a beacon of light in the lives of all who knew her. Her journey was marked by her unwavering battle with depression, a war she fought with courage and resilience until her untimely passing.
