STANTON - Guadalupe Rodriguez Marquez, 79 of Stanton, passed away on June 24, 2026. She was born Aug.11, 1946, in San Antonio, to the late Olivia and Albino Rodriguez.
Guadalupe worked as a cashier and manager at Rita’s for many years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, son Ricky Marquez, and brother Ray Rodriguez.
Survivors include her husband Andres Marquez; daughters Diane Marquez and Ana Marquez; son Oscar Marquez; sisters Emma Sotelo and Delores Hernandez; brother Alfonso Rodriguez; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A visitation and rosary were June 28, at Stanton Memorial Funeral Home in Stanton. Funeral Mass was June 29, at at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Stanton. Interment followed at St. Josephs Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Mark Hinojosa, Martin Marquez, Val Flores, Ray Rodriguez, Jamie Sotelo, and Emilio Agurie.
