MIDLAND - Grady’s junior high girls played at Midland TLCA on Monday and came away with two wins.
The seventh grade won 12-5.
Nayce McMorries had five points, Selig Burge three, Ariana Rodriguez two, and Rylan O'Donnell two.
“This group has really improved and they did a great job defensively guarding a team that had much taller players.,” said Grady coach Jacinda Langen.
The eight grade won 38-20.
Samantha Griffin led Grady in scoring with 15 points.
Tatum North finished with eight points followed by Kloe Brown with seven, Elena Jimenez four, Kaylee Coody two, Aurora Windham one, and Sindy Cruz one.
“This group did a great job on rebounding and moving the ball on offense,” said Langen. “I’m really proud of both teams.”
Both teams play at Borden County on Dec. 16 with the seventh grade starting at 5 p.m. and the eighth grade at 6 p.m.
