MIDLAND - Stanton’s freshman basketball team traveled to Midland on Tuesday to battle Hillcrest.
Hillcrest took the early 14-7 lead and had a 24-13 advantage.
The Buffs performed better in the second half but Hillcrest was too tough winning 54-42.
