STANTON - Edward Armendarez Jr. died May 2, 2021. He was born July 3, 1973 to Edwardo and Selia Armendarez of Stanton, where he would grow up, raise a family of his own and reside in. He married Oralia Gonzales and they had one child, Donavan Edward. He was a devoted Husband, Father, Uncle, lifelong Buffaloes Fan and member of the Stanton ISD School Board. He was a nurse for many years, who cared and loved his patients. He will be missed tremendously.
Survivors include his wife Oralia Armendarez; son, Donavan Armendarez and wife Kaitlyn; father, Edwardo Armendarez and one sister Annabelle Armendarez. Edward is preceded in death by his mother, Selia Armendarez.
Visitation was May 4 with a rosary recited that evening at Stanton Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass was May 5, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
Interment followed at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Alex Hernandez, Anthony Rangel, Aaron Hardin, Matt Garcia, Zaragosa Gonzales, Arnulfo Gonzales, Raymond Montez and Armando Bernal.
Arrangements were entrusted to Stanton Memorial Funeral Home & Chapel.
