STANTON - Jimmy Wayne McAnally was born May 6, 1947, in Jacksonville, and died June 30, 2021, at his home in Stanton.
He is survived by his wife, Paula McAnally of Stanton; half-sister Deann McAnally of Stanton; children Joe McAnally (Kelby) of Dayton, Sherrie Carl (Roy) of Burnet, Thomas McAnally (Jill) of Lindale, Jimmy McAnally Jr (Carla) of Brady, Henry McAnally of Stanton, Della McAnally Galvan of Stanton, Kristan Loya (Curtis) of Jacksonville, Rowdy McAnally (Tiffany) of Maydelle, Rory McAnally of Jacksonville, and Emily Yanez (Pete) of Stanton. He has 28 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Special family friends are Brandon Hageness and Billy Shipp of Jacksonville.
He was a disabled veteran with the U.S. Army. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He lived most of his life in Jacksonville, before moving to Stanton. Cremation is being done by Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory in Big Spring. There will be no funeral services due to cremation, and a family gathering will be planned in the future.
