Bernard Seidenberger, Jr.

MIDLAND - Bernard “Barney” Seidenberger, Jr., 77 of Midland, died Aug. 24, 2021. Rosary was Aug. 26, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass was Aug. 27, at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in Midland.

He was born on June 4, 1944 to Ella and Bernard Robert Seidenberger in Greenville. He is a graduate of Garden City High School and served in the Army National Guard. He had many hobbies including gunsmithing, hunting, photography, telling corny jokes, computers, model airplanes, drones, cars, and gardening.

He was a founding member of St Stephen’s Catholic Church serving many years on the Parish Council. His outgoing mannerism and joyful demeanor made him a perfect Usher at St. Stephen’s where he delighted in giving all a welcome hand. For most of his career, He worked for IBM and Xerox. He loved making people laugh and loved his family.

He is survived by his wife Dorothea Logan of Midland; son Robbie and fiancé Bea Ruth of Midland; son Mark and wife Tammy of Flower Mound; son Phil and wife Angi of Amarillo; step-children Lawrence Fink and wife Valarie of Indiana; Tanya Childs and husband Jason of Austin; and Stephen Finos and wife Ramona of Austin; seven grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren who adored their Grandpa; siblings Dennis Seidenberger of Garden City, James Seidenberger of San Angelo, and Cecilia Livingston of Andrews; loved by cousins, nieces, nephews and too many other family members and friends to list whom he loved dearly.

He is preceded in death by his first wife Carla Seidenberger; his parents Bernard and Ella Seidenberger; sisters Delores and Agnes Seidenberger.
