Jose Cruz Holguin Jr.

STANTON - Jose Cruz Holguin Jr., 59, died Aug. 26, 2021. Visitation and prayer service was Sept. 1, at Stanton Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service was Sept. 2, at First Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Stanton.

He was born Nov. 24, 1961 in Stanton, to Jose Cruz and Teresa Holguin. He was a forty year plus Ford master mechanic and business owner. One of his many accomplishments that he was very proud of was achieving a 4th Degree Black Belt in Tang Soo Do. He enjoyed being a Biker for more then 25 years. Mostly he would like to be remembered as a man of God for his children and grandchildren. He cherished the times he was able to spend with his family.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Jessica Holguin, father Jose Cruz Holguin Sr. and a sister Maria Chavarria. He is survived by his wife Tammy Holguin; mother Teresa

He is survived by his wife Tammy Holguin; mother Teresa Booth; daughters Lisa Torres (Roman), Kristi Holguin; sons Jose Cruz Holguin III (Ericka), Christopher Allen Holguin, Alex Holguin (Cindy), Ty Howard (Barbie); sisters Isabel Holguin, Terri Holguin, Lupe Zipper; brothers Manuel Holguin, Israel Holguin; ten grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Pallbearers were Sam Chapoy, Roy Fiveash, Matthew Torres, Roman Torres, Alonzo Holguin, and Emilio Villa. Honorary pallbearers were Roy Baladerez, Jose Cruz Holguin III, Christopher Allen Holguin, Ty Howard, and Alex Holguin.
