STANTON - Wayne DeLaO, 54, died Spet. 1, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. A viewing and rosary were Sept. 5, at the Stanton Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral mass was Sept. 6, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment followed at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
He was a devoted father and family man. His family meant everything to him. He would do anything for his daughters and grandchildren. Wayne enjoyed playing cards, dominoes and spending time with his family. He was a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory his daughters, Stephanie Mitchell (Jarvis), Naomi Paredes (Ashton), Justine DeLaO (Thomas); sisters, Betty DeLaO; Miranda Cruz (Danny): broth-ers, Paul DeLaO (Niki), Toby DeLaO; six grandchildren, Dereon Mitchell, Jarvis Mitchell II, Kingsley Mitchell, Eliora Paredes, Ivan Cruz, Easton Cruz, also many nieces and nephews. Serv-ing as pallbearers will be Jarvis Mitchell, Nick DeLaO, Adrian DeLaO, Paul Eric DeLaO, Alex DeLaO, Joe Montez, Aaron Montez, and Alex Haff.
