Joe Bryand

STANTON - Joe Bryand was born on July 29, 1957, in Big Spring, to Pablo and Silveria Bryand. He was known by everyone as "The Concrete Guy".

He taught his children and nephews almost everything there is to know about concrete. He was a strong hearted, kind, funny, hard-working father, uncle, brother, and friend.

He accepted Jesus as his Savior on Dec. 20, 2008. He kept faith in everyone and everything and always looked on the bright side. He touched the lives of everyone he met. His laugh was contagious, his voice was calming, his smile could light up any room, and his stories were unforgettable. He cherished his family, children, grandkids, and friendships.

He is survived by his wife Kim Bryand of Stanton; children Ashley Lopez (Anthony) and Amy Jo Bryand of Stanton, Joe B Bryand Jr of Hobbs, NM, Cacey Ruiz (Matthew) of Midland, Catelyn Anderson of Stanton; brother Paul Bryand of Stanton; sister Ninfa Bryand Riley (Larry Riley) of Landrum, SC; brother Noel Bryand (Barbara) of Stanwood, WA, sister Gloria Perez of Abilene; six grandsons, two granddaughters, and dozens of nephews and nieces.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Pablo and Silveria Bryand and his younger brother Eloy Bryand.

Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
