Johnny Wayne Britton

PLAINVIEW - Johnny Wayne Britton, 47 of Plainview, died Sept. 28, 2021. Memorial services were at Garland St. Church of Christ on Oct. 2, with Jackie Qualls officiating.

He was born on Apr. 19, 1974 in Plainview, to Terry and Debbie (Ross) Britton. He was raised in Tarzan, and was a 92' graduate of Grady High School. He attended Wayland Baptist University and Abilene Christian University. He enjoyed his job as a warehouse manager at Tri-Star Chemical and worked there up until his passing.

He married Jalynna Warren on June 23, 2021.

He was a devout Christian man who loved the Lord. Johnny loved people and making lasting connections. He was a kindhearted man who genuinely cared about others. For over 20 years he led children during LTC (Leadership Training for Christ) in Song Leading. He enjoyed singing and praising the Lord. He was a member of Garland St. Church of Christ for many years and was a part of the S.O.T. (Sons of Thunder). Though his physical void is indescribable there is peace knowing that he is at his heavenly home singing with the angels. Johnny will always be remembered as a loving father, husband, son, brother, and dear friend.

He is forever remembered by his wife Jalynna Britton of Plainview; parents Terry and Debbie Britton of Midland; his children Cadee, Michael, and Ryan Britton all of Colorado Springs, CO, and Brenynn Blackwell of Plainview; sisters Sharon Davis and husband Darrell of Cleburne, and Deidra Delozier and husband Brian of Midland. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Fern and Johnny Britton, and Sara and Wayne Ross.
