SARANAC - Barbara Rose Conaway, age 81 of Saranac, died Oct. 11, 2021. She was born on April 11, 1940, the daughter of Charles and Dorothy (McCartney) Luxton in Sonora.
She loved her family, enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family gatherings. She enjoyed cooking, participating in chili cook offs, sewing, going out to do activities, and she loved Texas.
She is survived by her daughter Liza (Jeffrey) Ewing; brothers Robby (Judy) Luxton and JA Luxton; grandchildren Derek Conaway, Kemari Kemme and Shayne Conaway; great-grandchildren Cutter Conaway, Mason Kemme and Owen Kemme; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Kimberly Conaway; brothers Wayne Luxton and James Luxton; and sister Lo Luxton.
