WENDELL, ID - Janice Jim Houston Lloyd, 86 of Wendell, Idaho, died Nov. 3, 2021 at her home.
She was the daughter of Anna Mae Tom and A. R. Houston of Stanton. She married Carl Ray Lloyd, Aug. 16, 1952, and the succession of adventures and children followed. After a short stay in Oklahoma while Carl finished his service in the army, they farmed, ranched and did custom hay work in South Dakota, Texas, Colorado, New Mexico and Idaho. She was a housewife, mother and Carl’s top hand.
She is survived by six of her seven children - Elizabeth Lloyd of Twin Falls, ID, Dan Lloyd of Stanton, Angie and Paul Crawford of Stanton, Mike Lloyd of Wendell, ID, Becca and Don Braun of Gooding, ID, George Lloyd of Buhl, ID; eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl, and son, Martin, and “a few old soreheads”.
Funeral mass will at 2pm Nov. 11, at Saint Anthony Catholic Church, Wendell, ID. She will be returned home to Texas for interment at a later date.
