MIDLAND - Cora (Codie) Henson, 95 of Midland, died on Feb. 7, 2022, at her residence in Manor Park.
Funeral services will be Feb. 10, at 10 am at First Baptist Church in Stanton with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Stanton.
She was born on Feb. 28, 1926, in Wingate, and married Lynn Henson on Jan. 16, 1964, in Seminole.
Lynn and Codie farmed in the Tarzan community for 24 years before retiring in 1988. She and Lynn then moved into Stanton.
She was a member of First Baptist Church Tarzan for several years before moving to First Baptist Church in Stanton.
Pallbearers are Michael Barbee, Tim Barbee, David Barbee, Neal Barbee, Bobby Subia, Seth Wood and Justin Henderson.
Survivors include two sons, Stephen Wood and wife, Nickie of Canyon and Les Wood of Midland; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, several
