GARDEN CITY - Quirino Soto Toral, 77 of Midland County, died Feb. 17, 2022 at home on the ranch he loved near Spraberry. He was born Apr. 10, 1944 in Anguahuan, Michoacán in Mexico.
He came to Texas as a young man and enjoyed a long career of working on west Texas cattle ranches, including the Glass Ranch near Garden City and more than forty years with the Harris Ranch in Garden City and Spraberry. He was a man of tremendous character, optimism, humor, and work ethic.
He is survived by his wife Maria Teresa Soto and their three children.
A funeral service was Feb. 22, in the Glass Chapel of First United Methodist Church in Midland.
