ODESSA - Carolyn Jo Barnes, 76, died peacefully on Mar. 4, 2022, at her son Kevin’s home under his care. She was born July 9, 1945, in Mitchell County to Mae (Finley) and James Cline.
She was a devoted mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren. She always took care of her family and made sure her kids had the best life. She was a hard worker and always found something to keep her busy. She enjoyed taking care of her plants and flowers in the summer time. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her sons Kevin Barnes, Robby Barnes and wife Debbie, and Rocky Barnes; sisters Mary Frances Graves, and Sandy Nowell; grandchildren Justin Barnes, Jadyn Barnes, Keagan Barnes, Shelbi Johnson, Eric Barnes, Isabelle Barnes, and Gaige Booth; great grandchildren Brooklyn Barnes, Bryleigh Barnes, and Ryder Johnson; special friends Alice Huff, Amor Carrillo, Hortencia Carrillo, Robert and Mona Quiroz.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother James Cline, sisters Kathy Walker, Dorthy Koen, Shirley Randolf; grandchildren Maegan Barnes and Jared Barnes.
Graveside services are scheduled for Mar. 10, at 2 pm in Stanton Texas at Evergreen Cemetery and will be officiated by David Harp.
Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel in Odessa.
