MIDLAND - Mary Jane Ramirez, 70 of Midland, died Mar. 8, 2022. She will lie in state Mar. 11, from 10 am until 6 pm at Gilbreath Funeral Home. Rosary Service will begin at 7 pm, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be at 1:30 pm, Mar. 12, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery.
She was born Sept. 30, 1951 in Shirley, Indiana, to Rufina Mata (Rivas) and Antonio Rivas, Sr. She was a lifetime resident of Midland. She enjoyed playing solitaire, reading, doing crafts, watching “Days of Our Lives”, and watching wrestling. Her favorite past time was taking care of and having fun with her granddaughter Destini.
She is survived by two sons Michael Quilimaco and girlfriend Jennifer and Martin Quilimaco; brother Antonio Rivas, Jr. and wife Tina; sister Anna Reyes and husband Meregildo; granddaughter Destini Marie Quilimaco, along with two other granddaughters; five grandsons and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Yolanda Saldana; brothers Jimmy Rivas, Danny Rivas, Raul John Rivas, Jose Luis Rivas and Alberto Rivas.
