Loran James Krejci

ROSCOE - Loran James Krejci 68, of Roscoe died from complications due to Covid-19 on Mar. 2, 2022, at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene.

A graveside service was held Mar. 5, at Garden of Memories with Father Nilo Nalugon officiating. Interment followed under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.

He was born Nov. 25, 1953, in Sweetwater to the late Raymond Frank and Evelyn Elizabeth (Machart) Krejci.

He was a 1972 graduate of Highland High School where he was an all-star football player being considered a top six-man player in the state of Texas.

After high school he went on and attended Angelo State University, followed by Stephen F. Austin State University and graduated with a Bachelors of Science.

He loved to have a cup of coffee, but also enjoyed playing golf and hunting. He was most proud to be Dad to his two girls.

He is survived by his daughters Crystal Krejci of Austin, Ashlee Fullwood and husband Jake of Spring; brother Ronnie Krejci and wife Amanda of Sterling City; nephew Alan Jenkins and wife Amanda of Glen Rose; nieces Katrina Goodwin and husband Chais of Garden City, Ashley Krejci Lee and husband Jerry of McGregor, Kirsty Krejci of Dallas, Kaylyn Muscarello and husband Kyle of Hewitt; the mother of their daughters Susan Gunn and husband Scottie of Tuscola.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Gary and Ivan.
