STANTON - Jerod Michael Parks, 18 of Stanton, died Mar. 16, 2022. He was born Sept. 5, 2003, in Lubbock, to Jimmy and Kathy Parks.
He grew up in Stanton and had many hobbies that brought him great joy. He graduated last year and was employed at Stanton IGA. He was an avid music lover and was a five plus year guitar student at Gary B’s, where he excelled. He loved building intricate Lego sculptures, science, skateboarding, all things Marvel and Transformers, video games, and spending time with his family and friends. His greatest accomplishment was being the most amazing son, little brother, and friend.
He is survived by his parents Jimmy and Kathy Parks of Stanton; brothers Anthony Lopez and family of Stanton, Merced Lopez and family of Lubbock, Jeremy Parks and family of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Robert Parks and wife of Otis of Orchards, Washington; sisters Jessica Kennemur and family of Big Spring, and Lexi Parks of Eunice, New Mexico, as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, and aunts.
