Glasscock County FFA Members had a great couple of days at the Area 2 FFA Convention. Students competed in Speaking Development Events, Talent, and received banners earned from previous Area Contests. Here are the results!
Karly Baker, Ag Tech Prepared Speaking- 2nd Place
Tatum Braden, Agribusiness Prepared Speaking- 5th Place
Lacy Seidenberger, Natural Resources Prepared Speaking- 4th Place
Walton Marshall, Animal Science Prepared Speaking- 7th Place
Brock Braden, Extemporaneous Public Speaking- 4th Place
Jim Kinnibrugh, Extemporaneous Public Speaking- 12th Place
Glasscock County earned the sweepstakes award as the highest ranking school for the collective performance in the speaking events. Abbie Garza competed in the Talent Contest and won Area. She will advance to the state contest in July. Brock Braden was elected as an Area Officer and will serve for the next year.
