Top Glasscock County ISD students honored at year end banquet

GLASSCOCK COUNTY - A handful of students and athletes were honored at the year end Glasscock County ISD Banquet earlier this month and four superlative awards were handed out.

The Top UIL Award went to Blake Stewart.

The Kat’s Paw Award was given to Bailey Dehlinger and Sebastian Balcazar.

The pair chosen for the GC Pride Leadership Award were Jasmine Jackson and Owen Seidenberger.

And the Fighting Heart Award went to Logan Seidenberger and Elissa Colunga.

It was a very successful year at Garden City with football and basketball teams making the playoffs, several UIL regional awards and also a state title, and numerous spring sports athletes advancing to regionals and even more medaling at state in track and golf.

Graduation put an end to the Bearkats 2021-2022 success, but Aug. 18, 2022 marks the beginning of another great school year.
