STANTON - Robert Earl Robinson was born on Feb. 14, 1950, in Big Spring. He died May 30, 2022, at Martin County Hospital at the age of 72.
He graduated from Coahoma High School, Class of 1968. In 1997, Robert and Debra opened Country Meadows Elderly Care in Stanton. He also served as President of The Full Gospel Businessmen’s Fellowship in Big Spring, for two years. He worked for The Texas Boll Weevil Eradication Program in Stanton and then Stanton ISD.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years Debra Robinson; daughter Sharee Lanett Robinson; son Mark Woodrow Robinson (wife Cheryl Robinson); sisters Carolyn Mills and Betty Develle; two grandsons, nieces, nephews, and some great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Woodrow and Ruth Robinson and his brother Larry Robinson.
There was a viewing at Stanton Memorial Funeral Home on June 1. Services will be held at Hosanna Christian Fellowship June 2, at 2 pm. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
