Eladio Gabaldon Molina

ODESSA - Eladio Gabaldon Molina, 75 of Odessa, died at his home May 24, 2022, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born in Cuchillo Parado, Chih. Mexico on June 14, 1946 to the late Epigmenio Gabaldon and Luz Molina. He married Maria Del Pilar Navarrete in 1965 in Cuchillo Parado, Chih. Mexico. They started a family in Cañon de Barrera (El Alamo) where he worked as an agricultor. They moved to Odessa, in 1987, where he continued as an agricultor.

He lived a very simple life and was also a mechanic. He enjoyed playing pool and won a few tournaments. Eladio and the love of his life - his loving wife, Maria, enjoyed going todances together. His last few years were spent surrounded by his loving family.

Survivors include his wife Maria Del Pilar Navarrete de Gabaldon of Odessa; sons Baldemar Gabaldon and wife Marisol, and Gerardo Gabaldon, all of Odessa; daughters Nereyda Garcia and husband George, Norma Leticia Gabaldon, and Pilar Cedillo and husband Jose Manuel, all of Odessa, and Guadalupe Alvarado and husband Gilberto of Midland; sisters Anita Juarez and husband Jose of Pasadena, Rosa Lujan of Midland, and Maria Gabaldon of Stanton; brothers Martin Gabaldon of Odessa and Gelasio Gabaldon; nineteen grandchildren Adam, Gerardo Jr., Stephanie, Marlee, Adrian, Mendy, Humberto Jr., Auden, Adilene, Aaron, Abel, Hector, Jesus, Adolfo, Sarahi, Aileen, Alexis, Gilbert Jr, and Isabella; eighteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, uncles and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents Luz Molina and Epigmenio Gabaldon; granddaughter Aridai Ortega; brother-in-law Arnaldo Lujan; and a nephew Leandro Juarez.

Rosary was recited at the funeral home on June 2. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church on June 3. Burial followed at American Heritage Cemetery in Midland County. Arrangements were entrusted to Acres West.
