MIDLAND - Betty Lou Roman, 77 of Midland and formerly of Stanton, died June 30, 2022. Funeral service was July 5, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel.
She was born Feb. 8, 1945 in Lamesa, to Oneta (Hayes) and Opal Langston. She was a longtime resident of Martin County. She married Elbert Lee Roman III on Sept. 2, 1965, in Lenorah.
She was a fantastic cook and loved to sew and bake. She taught for many years in the computer lab and was also a teacher’s aide. She retired from Klondike ISD and had also worked in the ASCS offices in Lamesa and Big Spring.
She is survived by her son Chris Roman and wife Paula; her daughter Lori Roman Dombrowski and husband Mark; and her sister Glenda Gonzales and husband Manuel; three grandsons: Zach, Jeremy and Tim Anderson; four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Lee on May 26, 2020.
Arrangements were under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home and Crematory.
