SAN ANTONIO - Juan Miguel Arguello Marquez, 37 of San Antonio, died June 26, 2022.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother Mary Arguello Marquez and nephew Angel W Salinas.
He is survived by his father Juan Miguel Marquez of Andrews; his mother Jasmine Castillo of McGregor; grandfather Cleto Marquez of Stanton; aunts Andrea Marquez Salgado of San Antonio and Rosandrea Silva of San Antonio; uncle Freddie Silva of Graham; brothers Justin Matthew Marquez of Stanton and Michael Paul Marquez of Andrew; sisters Magdalena Marie Loertcher of Temple, Kristien Marquez of Andrews, and Alysandra Nichole Freeman of Peru, IN; seven nephews and nieces, eight cousins Katrina Salgado-Garza, Daniella Marquez, Michael Salgado Jr, Christa Silva, Dominic Cortes Silva, Nathan Silva, Joaquin Sebastian Silva, Angelina Silva, partner Johnny Juarez and step daughter Chyna Juarez.
He attended Graham High School and later went on to manage several restaurant businesses before retiring due to declining health. He enjoyed being active on social media platforms, spending time with his pets, swimming, listening to music such as Selena and Madonna, gaming, and one of his favorite past times was decorating for the holidays. John was very giving and cared deeply for his family and friends… He will live on forever in our hearts always.
Visitation and rosary was June 30, 2022 at Stanton Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral mass was July 1, at Stanton Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow at a later date.
