Barbara Mozelle Kinard
MIDLAND - Barbara Mozelle Kinard, 63, died Aug. 20, 2022. She was born on Feb. 9, 1959, in Big Spring. She was a loving Wife, Mother and Grammy. She was always passionate about her feelings, the good and the bad.
She grew up fast, mostly on her own, a child of a single mother in Big Spring. She married Garry Kinard on Feb. 11, 1984.
She had three boys, and Garry had one as well. They weren't sure how it would work, but they loved each other enough to make it work and added two beautiful girls to their family. She worked at the Big Spring Post office for 20 yrs. She always loved going to the lake and dreamed of having her own place there. Her dream came true with her and Garry's hard work and success, and she got her happy place in Kingsland. She loved being there with her family and friends.
Shewasn't known as a punctual person. Most of us called it Barbara time. However, she would often let you know that she is in control no matter the repercussions of Barbara's time.
She is survived by her husband, Garry Kinard of Midland. Sons Corbett Williford and wife Patricia of Big Spring, Michael Hilburn and wife Elizabeth of Brock, Cody Kinard and wife Shae of Stanton, Rodney Kinard and wife Kandy of Big Spring, Daughters Kristy Hickey and husband Ted of Gardendale, Kimberly Whitford and husband Brian of Big Spring. Also, numerous grandchildren that she dearly loved.
She requested a celebration of life at her happy place instead of a traditional funeral service. Therefore, we invite all of Barbara's loved ones to join us in celebrating her life at Windmill Lake Bum RV Park, 817 Tucker St. Kingsland, TX 78639, on Sept. 3, at 4 pm.
