GEORGETOWN Margie Faye Walker, 95 of Georgetown, formerly of Winters, died Jan. 7, 2023. She was born March 5, 1927, in Big Spring, where she grew up, to Virgil and Zora Fannin. She graduated high school from Garden City. She married C.D. Walker on Nov. 19, 1949, in Hobbs, New Mexico. They moved to Winters June 20, 1981.
She worked at the school cafeteria in Winters for 10 years and was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by three children, Gregory Doyle Walker of Temple, Miller Henry Walker of Blackwell, and Donna Doylene Blackshear of Kemp; as well as five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends at 6 p.m. Jan. 12, at Winters Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Jan. 13 at Winters Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Lakeview Cemetery.
