PORT ARANSAS Trevor Ashley Roten, 53 of Port Aransas, died in Corpus Christi on Jan. 12, 2023. He was born to Rodney and Linda (Caffey) Roten in Temple, on Nov. 27, 1969. Services will be at 4 p.m., Jan. 21, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel in Midland. He will be laid to rest next to his dad at Evergreen Cemetery in Stanton.
He attended schools in Midland, Stanton, and graduated from Big Spring High School in 1988. Besides Texas, he also lived in California, Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico.
Above all else, he loved his children, Amanda, Ashleigh, Alec, and Kayla. His nieces and nephews thought he was the “cool” uncle.
He was preceded in death by his father who died only 14 days before on Dec. 30, 2022; grandparents, Mamie and Louis Roten, and Ralph and Ladie Fred Caffey.
He is survived by his children, daughter Amanda Adamson and husband Skye of Midland, daughter Ashleigh Roten and partner John DiMase, son Alec Roten, daughter Kayla Gray and husband Michael; and grandchildren, Braedon Jimenez, Braelynn Jimenez, Branson Adamson, Ethan Trevino, Amelia DiMase, and Noah Gray; mother Linda Russell and husband Micheal; sisters Angie Kinnett and husband Mike of Edgewood, Stephanie Melton and husband Derrick of Midland, and Timothy Russell of Wilmington, North Carolina; aunts and uncles, Deborah and Kenny Heath, Dianne Haun, Robert and Patty Roten, and Rhonda Gilliland, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory in Midland.
